Solar Scout exists because buying solar in Australia was broken for homeowners and for the good installers trying to earn their business.
Why we built this.
The problem
Homeowners were getting three cold calls a day from solar spammers and $14,000 quotes for systems worth $6,000. Meanwhile good installers were paying for leads that never converted.
The idea
What if the check was genuinely useful satellite roof model, current STC value, honest payback estimate before any installer ever heard your name?
The model
Solar Scout earns a fixed referral fee from installers on completed installs. Same fee for every partner no incentive to push one over another. Your check is free because the model works.
Going national
We started in NSW and have expanded to operate across Australia. Every state has its own rebate landscape - we map the incentives so homeowners see their real numbers.
